Job Responsibility: • Develop product reliability goals and processes to achieve them. Serve as a consultant to broaden deployment of reliability tools for cranes facilities. Audit performance per plant
• Suggest Optimization on new and current design for improved reliability. Ensure that resources are allowed and allocated.
• Provide Reliability Engineering support to design engineering teams .
• Support and Develop design guidelines for product reliability.
• Improve product reliability through analysis of field samples, statistical analysis and design changes. Develop statistical techniques such as Weibull analysis to predict product failure rates and quantify improvement activities
• Diagnose product issue with customers, suppliers field performance group to provide solutions.
• Establish methods for early indicators of warranty problems.
• Develop test methods plans in collaboration with engineering to simulate field environment.
• Develop product duty cycle and design goals
• Participate in design, FMEA, and product development gate reviews
• Review product reliability targets and test result to confirm reliability. Job requirement:
• Bachelors required and Master degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Six sigma Black belt training
• reliability training
• ASQ CRE certification
• 8 to 10 years experience in product development, testing, reliability in automotive/truck /agricultural equipment
• 2 to 5 years experience in component reliability.
• Familiar with Reliability Engineering methods and practices such as, Highly Accelerated Stress Screening, Highly Accelerated Life Testing
• Trained in the Six Sigma methodology (Black Belt preferred) or equivalent statistical analysis techniques and software expertise with MiniTab V14.
• Knowledge of product development system and manufacturing activities such as validation , verification procedures, design of experiment, statistical process control.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Design for Manufacturability
• Strong problem solving skills utilizing data to support problem resolution.
• Excellent people skills including team building and leadership abilities to interact with different functions
• Ability to be persuasive to lead change.
• Good oral and written communication skills to make presentation and interact with different auditors.
• Able to work independently and proactively without direct supervision
• Able to lead multiple projects concurrently
• Knowledge and experience with Reliability software packages: Weibull 6++, ITI’s reliability growth and monitoring package.
• Familiar and able to work with Microsoft Office Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Visio.
• Local language and English fluent.
